Mission Statement
The Great Basin Chapter
of Trout Unlimited's mission is to conserve, protect, and restore the
Great Basin's native and coldwater sportfish and conservation fisheries
and their aquatic-riparian watersheds.
Function and Objectives
The Chapter will disseminate information to educate members and the
public on coldwater fisheries conservation. This information will be
sent to all TU members.
The Chapter will bring public visibility through leadership,
conservation, and angling issues through membership and educational
programs, marketing, advertising and/or public relations.
The Chapter members will be bio-political ambassadors to the public, and
will create a positive political and information forum and atmosphere.

Trout Unlimited Objectives
For four decades, Trout Unlimited has been America's leading trout
and salmon conservation organization. TU's 125,000
members and 500 chapters across the U.S. and Canada are actively engaged
in the fight to preserve our precious trout and salmon resources. These
members plan and build stream improvement projects, work with government
agencies to secure
fish-friendly legislation, and teach young people the importance of
protecting wild fish and their habitat.

businesses to contribute to TU's mission at the conservation support
